Useful tools should not ask you to surrender your files.

QuickMerge is an independent browser-tool studio built in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. It turns everyday document work into a focused, private experience—without an account and, for supported tools, without uploading the file.

Designed, built, and maintained with direct accountability.

Mehran founded QuickMerge after seeing a familiar problem: people routinely send contracts, scans, IDs, financial documents, and business files to online utilities without knowing where those files go or how long they remain there.

With more than five years of web-development experience, he focuses on browser-based applications, privacy-conscious architecture, resilient interfaces, and tools that explain what they are doing. He remains directly involved in product design, engineering, testing, security reviews, and the day-to-day quality of every QuickMerge release.

“The best privacy feature is often the simplest one: do the work on the user’s device whenever the browser can handle it.”

Why QuickMerge exists

A smaller trust boundary for everyday file work.

QuickMerge is designed around a clear rule: a tool should only receive the access it genuinely needs.

01

Local where practical

PDFs, images, text, and generated outputs are processed inside the browser for supported workflows. Files are not sent to a QuickMerge document-processing server.

02

Clear before clever

Controls, limits, privacy behavior, and errors should be understandable before a user commits important work.

03

Useful without an account

Core tools remain available without creating a profile, building a document history, or handing over personal details.

04

Security as maintenance

Dependencies, file validation, browser permissions, headers, and public claims are reviewed as an ongoing engineering responsibility.

How the architecture works

Your browser is the workspace.

QuickMerge uses mature web APIs and carefully selected libraries to perform document work in memory on your device. Heavy engines load only when a tool needs them, keeping the main experience fast and reducing unnecessary third-party execution.

  1. 1
    Select locally

The browser grants temporary access only to files you choose.

  2. 2
    Validate before work

Format, size, and basic file signatures are checked before processing.

  3. 3
    Process in memory

Transformation happens in the active browser session whenever supported.

  4. 4
    Download directly

The finished file is generated for you without creating a QuickMerge document archive.
