What you can customise
Most digital stamps give themselves away instantly. The circle is mathematically perfect, the ink is one flat colour, and every letter sits exactly on its baseline. A real rubber stamp does none of that. The pad loads unevenly, the rim bites harder than the middle, the paper eats pigment in patches, and the whole impression lands a few degrees off square. Using the generator

Ink, texture and wear controls
Realism here is procedural, not a photograph of a stamp laid over your text. Six effects do most of the work, and they interact:
Uneven ink distribution
A broad, low-frequency noise field decides where the pad was well loaded and where it had run dry. Because the field is smooth, you get organic patches rather than the salt-and-pepper look of uniform digital noise.
Broken and chipped edges
Edge damage is applied along the outline of the frame and of individual characters, so chips appear where a worn rubber die would actually lose material — not evenly around a perfect circle.
Uneven pressure
A pressure gradient tilts across the impression at a seeded angle. One side reads dark and solid, the opposite side lighter, and the rim transfers more heavily than the centre.
Ink bleed and absorption

Two honest caveats about using a hanko stamp generator online. First, this creates a decorative or personal hanko-inspired graphic — it is a design, not a registered seal. PNG at 1,024 px suits most documents. Transparency matters as much as the artwork

One with a white background sits in an opaque rectangle that hides the document around it, and it is instantly obvious. Export as PNG rather than JPG, since JPG has no transparency and will fill the background.
