HEIC to JPG on Android and Samsung phones

Use the phone’s file picker, convert the photos locally and save each JPG through the browser download flow.

Direct answer: Open the HEIC converter, select one or more .heic or .heif files, keep JPG selected, convert and download each successful result or the ZIP.

Android steps

  1. Wait for the page and decoder to load.
  2. Tap the upload area and choose Files, Gallery or the device file manager.
  3. Select the HEIC photos. Each must be under 50MB.
  4. Choose JPG and adjust quality if needed.
  5. Convert, then download the results.

If Gallery does not expose the file, open My Files and look in DCIM or Downloads. The converter does not alter the original photo in Gallery.

Privacy and limits

The photo data is decoded in the page and is not uploaded to QuickMerge. The web page and decoder still make normal resource requests. Large phone batches use substantial memory, so retry fewer files if the tab closes or slows down.

Finding the JPG

Open the browser download list, Files or My Files. The converted image keeps the original base filename with a new extension.
