Most online croppers only let you drag a box, which means the output size is whatever your mouse happened to land on. This one takes numbers. If a form demands 600×600, you type 600 and 600.

Why the pixel fields matter

Dragging is fine for framing; it is useless for compliance. A passport photo portal, a marketplace listing, an ad slot and an app-store screenshot all specify dimensions to the pixel and reject anything else, and no amount of careful mouse work reliably produces exactly 1200×628.

The crop itself is performed on an HTML canvas at the image's full native resolution. The preview is only for aiming: it is scaled to fit your screen, but the pixel values you type are read against the real image, so a 600-pixel-wide crop is 600 real pixels of the original — not 600 pixels of a downscaled preview. Nothing outside the region you export is re-encoded.

Two things worth knowing about the numbers. Cropping only ever removes pixels, so the result cannot be larger than the region you selected — if you need to reach a size the crop cannot supply, crop to the right shape here first and then resize to the exact dimensions. And the order matters: crop first, resize second. Resizing first throws away detail you were about to crop into.

Transparency survives if the format does
